Helpful Hints
Quickly locate a group:
When your list of jobs becomes more than one page or especially when it becomes multiple pages there is a quick way to get to the first occurrence of a group.
- Hit the Page Up or Page Down key one time.
- Key the first letter of the name of the group you need to go to.
- Key the second, third, etc. letters of the name of the group until you reach the group you are looking for. You will be close enough then to find the job you want.
This can be very useful when grouping specific jobs together in a series of projects.
Example: If you are doing a series of projects by state. We will call our project simply the letter “S”. The group name for the Nebraska jobs could be named “SNB”. Nevada could be “SNV”, New Hampshire “SNH”, New York “SNY”, Wisconsin “SWI”etc. To quickly get to the New Hampshire jobs you would simply click once on any item in the list, key in “SNH” and you would quickly be at the first job in the New Hampshire list.
Give your group names some serious thought because they can be used as a very powerful tool in locating your jobs quickly.
